The union is in a state of deep and justifiable
anxiety about jobs and mortgages and two long, bloody wars. President Obama
helped create the mortgages and jobs problem - intentionally working with
Chris Dodd, Barney Frank and the Black Caucus to encourage Fannie Mae and
Freddie Mac support for bank loans that could not be repaid.
Obama did not create the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan - but he has worked
hard to extend them into Pakistan and Yemen. None of the problems Obama
helped create could be solved in one year, but Obama has worked hard to make
these problems worse than they were. His first State Of The Union made it
clear he plans to further destroy the traditional USA in his second year. 2009 offered powerful and, at times, bruising lessons for an inept
president struggling to fulfill what he thought was the seismic promise of
his election - that USA citizens wanted a totalitrarian Marxist government.
Mr. Obama used his first State of the Union address to show the
country that he has not learned much, and he intends to govern in the
next three years as a socialist with a mandate to destroy the free
enterprise system, and freedom for individuals.
He was smart to
make the creation of jobs and the reform of the far too vulnerable
financial system his top priorities. In this way Obama can move the
nation closer to socialism while pretending he is doing this for the
good of unemployed USA citizens, And Mr. Obama made it clear that he would not be cowed by
Washington's venomous politicians opposed to Marxism. It was a relief
for America's national socialists (Nazis) to see him challenge the
Senates Republicans for their obstruction and his party's socialists for
tending to run for the hills rather than wield the power of its
majority.
Watching Mr. Obama, we were also reminded of the worlds relief
that he is very much not the honest USA-loving George W. Bush. He is
managing the necessary surrender to terrorists in Iraq. His decision to
send more troops to Afghanistan and bring them right back was courageous
and sound for those wanting to allow Islamic terrorists to rule
Afghanistan. On Wednesday, he rejected the false choice between security
and the rule of law. Obama knows that full acceptance of the goals of
Islam means the nation will be secure from a massive invasion.
At home, Mr. Obama pushed a totally partisan economic recovery
(Stimulus) bill that was not aimed at creating job growth, but only
spending for democratic party special interest stake holders. Obama
lied about what this stimulus bill would accomplish, but It obviously
could not stave off an even deeper recession. Obama inappropriately raised fuel standards for cars and appointed a
know racist, Sonia Sotomayor, to a Supreme Court that had been drifting
towards supporting the USA Constitution - a dangerous direction for
committed national socialists, But, Obama is not satisfied. Not enough
has been done to make the USA a Marxist totalitarian nation, and the
president acknowledged that before Congress and the nation on Wednesday
night.
Like Mr. Obama, committed progressive liberal democrats,
would like to see bipartisan cooperation, but not if it means any
Republicans can contribute to actual legislative language. All too often
Mr. Obama has underestimated the USA voter's, tea party participant's
and Republican's determination to block his major socialist agenda.
When the economy was imploding only three Republican senators voted for
the inadequate special interest "stimulus" bill; none agreed to back
socialistic health care reform or even vote to end a filibuster.
USA Statists (Communists, Fascists and Socialists) felt
it was good to see him get tougher and clearer about going forward with
the Marxist agenda. If the Republicans and citizens want to continue to
block bills that the country wants and needs to achieve a socialist
paradise, he should let them filibuster and complain so the independents
can take notice. Liberal Progressive Democrats would have liked to have
heard a more forceful demand rather than a polite invitation for the
Republicans to either support his health care reform plan or produce
their own plan, one that provides real security for all Americans and
has a real chance to reduce costs.
After their taxpayer-financed bailout, Mr. Obama called for additional taxes on the
fat cats of the big banks. (Of course, he allowed the Fannie and Freddie
fat cats to continue raping USA taxpayers with obscene bonuses.)
Mr. Obama admitted Americans anxiety about the deficit he has grown
to startling new levels, and he
tried to hide from the problems he created with the partisan Democratic
congress by announcing he had screwed things up so badly he would now create a bipartisan panel to come up
with ideas to address the Democrat's overspending problem. Senate
Democrats refused to bring the proposal to a vote.
Obama admitted that now he understood his first priority must be creating more jobs
and helping more Americans with their mortgages.
The private sector, in the Democrat's growing national socialized
nation, seems unlikely to propel a self-sustaining
recovery any time soon. Businesses and investors do not trust Marxist
democrats. That means more politician stimulus spending for the
democrat's special interest stake holders, like unions - especially
government unions, not less,
much more than the $154 billion jobs bill the House has passed. Mr.
Obama offered some additional ideas trying to appeal to centrists not
enamored with socialist policies, like lending money to small businesses
and giving them incentives for capital investments. The ignorant USA
citizens will
need to hear a lot more about that before they will believe Obama and
the Democrats.
Mr. Obama's new conservative deliberative nature makes sense
to the career democrat politicians, but not to his hard leftists
progressive socialist democrats. These leftists feel Obama, too often in the last
year, lingered on the sidelines, allowing his opponents to define and
explain the issues and, sometimes, him as happened last year in the
health care debate.
His speech Wednesday was a reminder that he is a gifted
teleprompter reader, able
to inspire with grand vision, even though he is unable to speak the simple truth frankly.

Ok To Deny Illegal Alien Public Service
In a rare case for a state that has long offered illegal immigrants
sanctuary, an appellate court in Oregon has ruled in favor of a state agency
that denied an illegal alien costly public services based on her immigration
status.
Oregon's largest regulatory agency, the Department of Consumer and
Business Services (DCBS), rejected a claim to provide and illegal immigrant
vocational assistance benefits after a 2005 work injury that resulted in a
permanent impairment. The DCBS, which administers state workers compensation and
occupational safety laws, still awarded the illegal alien an undisclosed award
for the impairment.
However, the woman who entered the USA illegally (Carmen Carreon)
wanted more taxpayer-financed perks in the form of vocational assistance. The
agency determined that she was ineligible for the benefit because she was not
authorized to work in the United States. Carreon had the audacity to sue the
DCBS for denying her the services, claiming that the agency's director
overreached by creating an eligibility requirement not granted by Oregon's
legislature.
The Oregon Court of Appeals disagreed, ruling this week that state
law grants the agency's director the authority to establish additional
conditions for providing vocational assistance. Imposing a rule that requires a
person to be legally authorized to work in the United States is a valid exercise
of the authority granted to the director, the court said in its decision.
Public agencies seldom reject illegal immigrants in the Democratic
Progressive Socialist Paradise of Oregon Oregon has a statewide sanctuary
law protecting those who broke the law to invade the USA. The liberal
democrat's law prohibits police agencies and local governments from using any
resources to apprehend or report illegal aliens. The states largest city,
Portland has its own official sanctuary ordinance aside from the blanket
measure, ensuring illegal alien invaders in more taxpayer benefits and
protections.
These sorts of protections have evidently emboldened illegal
immigrants who are increasingly taking legal action against government agencies
for denying their rights. In the last few months alone, illegal aliens across
the nation have sued various law enforcement agencies for violating their
constitutional rights. Among them is an Ohio sheriff who helped deport a Mexican
with false identification cards, a Maryland sheriff who arrested an illegal
Salvadoran woman and federal agents who apprehended a group of illegal aliens in
a Connecticut immigration raid

would be better if some of the undesirables and unwanted were eliminated. Obama
and most Democratic Progressives also think the nation would be better off if

The September 11
attacks on the Twin Towers caused unspeakable pain to the people of the
United States. It is significant that the Palestinian Authority [PA] through
its controlled media, has repeatedly used the visual image of the smoldering
towers, to ridicule the American pain, indicating that it is the Arabs,
Muslims, Iraqis, and Palestinians who are the true towers that have been
attacked.
Seven examples of

recent appeared this week. The cartoon of two smoldering towers of Iraq and
"Palestine" for example, appearing last week, was so well received after it
was printed in Al Quds, that it was reprinted two days later in Al-Hayat

streets shortly after the attacks.
The Palestinian
Authority soon realized the damage to their "good name" that pictures of

are being published worldwide, and did EVERYTHING, including threating the
lives of foreign reporters in Juda & Samaria, demanding not to publish more
videos and pictures. Though, the damage is done.
Yasser Arafat himself
brought many TV Broadcast teams to show the world how with his great
kindness he gives blood for the wounded people from the attacks on the NY
World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
The thing that everyone seems to
forgot now, that the man is ill, and his blood is full of medicines &

Brain Dead People Are Not Dead. Study shows even the brain dead have
thoughts
(Feb. 4) – This is bad news for liberal progressive democrats who
want to stop "wasting" money to keep very sick people alive. Patients who
appear to be in a vegetative state, unresponsive even for several years, may all
the while be aware of their surroundings and have desires to communicate.
That's according to a new study by British and Belgian scientists
with huge implications for how society cares for patients in a persistent
vegetative state -- and whether they're truly "brain-dead" when loved ones
decide to take them off life support and let them die. This means that
liberal progressive democrats, who had trouble justifying saving money by
limiting health care costs for older people, will now have trouble trying to
save health care costs by allowing the death of those previously considered
brain dead.
The study was published Wednesday in the New England Journal of
Medicine. It details how five of 54 patients previously diagnosed as being
either in a vegetative state or as minimally conscious showed signs of brain
activity on imaging tests.
In perhaps the most startling case, a man who'd been unresponsive for
five years was able to communicate "yes" or "no" responses to doctors' questions
through his brain waves. It indicates he may have been aware of his surroundings
all along, and able to hear the voices of people around him.
Researchers did MRI tests on 54 patients with severe brain
injuries. Of those, 31 were diagnosed as being in a minimally conscious state –
meaning they showed some occasional signs of awareness like laughter or crying.
The other 23 were considered to be in a vegetative state, unresponsive and
unaware of their surroundings.
Hooked up to the MRI scanner, the patients were asked to imagine
playing tennis or walking around their home – tasks that activate the part of
the brain associated with movement. The brains of four of the 23 vegetative
patients showed the same kind of brain response as healthy subjects would. One
of the minimally conscious patients showed the same ability.
Scientists used the same technique to see if the patients could
answer simple questions like "Do you have any brothers?" Patients were asked to
imagine playing tennis to indicate a "yes" response or to imagine walking around
their home to say "no." One of the four – an Australian man who suffered brain
trauma in a car accident in 2003 – was able to respond correctly to several
questions.
"We were astonished when we saw the results of the patient's scan
and that he was able to correctly answer the questions that were asked by simply
changing his thoughts," Adrian Owen, a neuroscientist at the U.K.'s Medical
Research Council and one of the study's authors, told the BBC.
He said the findings opened up many possibilities for future
treatment. "You could ask if patients were in pain and if so prescribe
painkillers, and you could go on to ask them about their emotional state," Owen
said.
In an editorial published on the medical journal's Web site,
another neurologist, Allan Ropper, cautioned against overstating the study's
findings. Brain activity was only found in a minority of the small number of
patients studied, and only ones who had suffered brain trauma from an accident,
rather than those whose brains had been starved of oxygen after a stroke or
heart attack, for instance.
The findings don't necessarily mean the patient has self-awareness
or the ability to reflect, wrote Ropper, of Brigham and Women's Hospital in
Boston. But "the line between consciousness and unconsciousness will be blurred"
as scientific understanding of vegetative states deepens, he wrote.
The MRI technique, first used by Owen in 2006, could be used in the
future to test the brain activity of people who wake up from a coma but remain
unresponsive, Ropper wrote.
The research could certainly change how people think about patients
in a vegetative state. "There has been a kind of nihilism towards these
patients. This represents a cultural shift," Joseph J. Fins, chief of the
medical ethics division at Weill Cornell Medical College, told The Wall Street
Journal. Fins wasn't involved in this study, but is working on a similar one
about brain injuries.
The study could rekindle the contentious debate in the U.S. over
how much life-sustaining care to continue giving unresponsive patients. The
biggest and most bitter right-to-die case in the U.S. recently was that of Terri
Schiavo, a 41-year-old woman who died in 2005 after she'd been in a vegetative
state since a heart attack in 1990. Her husband fought a long legal battle to
have doctors remove her feeding tube. The case raised ire among conservative
Christians and even prompted then-President George W. Bush to intervene.
But experts say vegetative patients are more likely to have brain
function if their injuries were from trauma rather than a stroke or heart
attack, as in Schiavo's case, which creates permanent damage by cutting off
oxygen to the brain.
Still, Ropper warned of potential ethical dilemmas for doctors and
patients' families. "It will now be difficult for physicians to tell families
confidently that their unresponsive loved ones are not 'in there somewhere,'" he

But, let's be fair before we attack the beloved socialist democrats in
Congress or the Marxist ideals of Obama for this new debt.
It's True, Congress did increase the debt ceiling to allow another 15% of
spending. But, will these politicians now show they know they have failed citizens,
and will they soon agree to take a 15% cut in their pay and benefits. This
would show that the politicians
are going to share the pain with all of USA citizens.
Obama needs to put on a new face. He must pretend the USA peasants are
citizens - with some say on how the socialist democrats should behave. However,
Obama needs to understand the peasants (oops, I meant "citizens") are not as
stupid as he thinks. He cannot put on the new face and then take it off a few
hours later. The masses will notice.
The clean, articulate, light-skinned negro President missed a golden
opportunity to give the American people real solutions in his State of the Union
message. The President acknowledged, quietly, the problems we face are due in
part to too much government - too much spending, and a failure to focus on the
real problems at hand.
Americans want government to work for them, not the other way around.
Unless Obama and the national socialist democrats work in, at least, a
bipartisan way to control spending, reduce our debt, secure our nation, and
achieve energy independence, the future prosperity of our children will suffer.
The President needed to give us his plan for jobs today without debt
tomorrow. The American people did not hear that. Instead, we heard more of the
same agenda that has already proved unpopular. I hope the change we see in 2010
will be more like the change he promised in 2008 - Republicans and Democrats
working together to solve the problems facing our nation. We have to return
government back to Americans and reject the practice of making sweetheart deals
behind closed doors, while lying about transparency - or pretending those not
allowed into the room are "obstructionists."
The President is right to focus on jobs and too much government spending,
but creating vast new government programs - with even more government spending -
is not a solution. We need to cut taxes and put money back in the hands of
workers and job creators. The free spending and unrestrained growth of
government is hurting our nation's ability to prosper. We need to cut spending
and balance the budget. The American people deserve no less.
And here lies the problem.....Our Government will collapse when our
citizens start voting "freebies" for themselves.....
Socialism Viewed
Positively by only 36% of Americans. Majority of Americans positive on
capitalism, entrepreneurs, free enterprise, and small business.
But the democrats prefer socialism.

PRINCETON, NJ -- More than one-third of Americans (36%) have a
positive image of "socialism," while 58% have a negative image.
Views differ by party and ideology, with a majority of Democrats and
liberals saying they have a positive view of socialism, compared to
a minority of Republicans and conservatives.
"Democrats and Republicans agree in their ratings of several of the
terms, but differ significantly in their ratings of others -- in
particular, capitalism, the federal government, and socialism."
"Socialism" was one of seven terms included in a Jan. 26-27
Gallup poll. Americans were asked to indicate whether their
top-of-mind reactions to each were positive or negative. Respondents
were not given explanations or descriptions of the terms.
Americans are almost uniformly positive in their reactions to
three terms: small business, free enterprise, and entrepreneurs.
They are divided on big business and the federal government, with
roughly as many Americans saying their view is positive as say it is
negative. Americans are more positive than negative on capitalism
(61% versus 33%) and more negative than positive on socialism (36%
to 58%).
Democrats and Republicans agree in their ratings of several of
the terms, but differ significantly in their ratings of others -- in
particular, capitalism, the federal government, and socialism.
In similar fashion, there is little distinction across
ideological groups -- conservatives, moderates, and liberals -- in
the ratings of several of these terms, but more significant
differences in response to others, such as big business, the federal
government, and socialism.
These differences will be discussed in the sections that follow.
Socialism
Socialism had the lowest percentage positive rating and the
highest negative rating of any term tested. Still, more than a third
of Americans say they have a positive image of socialism.
Exactly how Americans define "socialism" or what exactly they
think of when they hear the word is not known. The research simply
measures Americans' reactions when a survey interviewer reads the
word to them -- an exercise that helps shed light on connotations
associated with this frequently used term.
There are significant differences in reactions to "socialism"
across ideological and partisan groups:
A majority of 53% of Democrats have a positive image of
socialism, compared to 17% of Republicans.
Sixty-one percent of liberals say their image of socialism is
positive, compared to 39% of moderates and 20% of conservatives.
Capitalism
"Capitalism," the word typically used to describe the United
States' prevailing economic system, generates positive ratings from
a majority of Americans, with a third saying their reaction is
negative.
As was the case with "socialism," there are differences across
population segments.
Republicans are significantly more positive than Democrats in
their reactions to "capitalism," although majorities of both
groups have favorable opinions.
Opinions of the word by ideology are divided in an unusual,
though modest, way. Conservatives have the highest positive
image, followed by liberals. Moderates have somewhat lower
positive ratings than either of these groups.
One might expect those with negative attitudes toward capitalism
to be more likely than others to have positive attitudes toward
socialism. That is indeed the case, but the difference in positive
attitudes toward socialism between those with positive and those
with negative attitudes toward capitalism is fairly modest: 33% vs.
43%, respectively.
Free Enterprise
Eighty-six percent of respondents rated the term "free
enterprise" positively, giving it substantially more positive
ratings than "capitalism." Although in theory these two concepts are

equivalents. Yet, underscoring the conventional wisdom that words
matter, the public clearly reacts differently to the two terms. Free
enterprise as a concept rings more positively to the average
American than does the term capitalism.
Strongly positive ratings of free enterprise are generally
uniform across both partisan groups, and across the three
ideological groups.
Small Business and Big Business
"Small business" is the most positively rated term of the seven
included in the list, with a nearly universal positive rating of
95%.
In contrast, Americans were sharply divided when asked to react
to the term "big business," with 49% of respondents rating the term
positively and 49% negatively.
This contrast in images, based on whether the adjective "small"
or "big" is placed in front of "business," confirms
a number of previous Gallup findings. Americans have a strong
tendency to react positively to "small" and negatively to "big" when
it describes business entities.
There is remarkably little difference between Republicans and
Democrats in their ratings of the images of small and big business.
Both partisan groups are overwhelmingly positive about the former,
and roughly half of both partisan groups rate the latter positively.
The finding that Democrats and Republicans have roughly equal
reactions to big business is significant given the usual assumption
that Republicans are more sympathetic to large businesses and
corporations than are Democrats. These data do not confirm that
hypothesis at the rank-and-file level.
All three ideological groups rate small business very positively.
Big business is rated positively by 57% of conservatives. Less
than half of both moderates (46%) and liberals (38%) have positive
images of big business.
Entrepreneurs
Because "entrepreneurs" are usually by definition associated with
start-ups of small businesses, it is not unexpected to find that the
term generates nearly the same level of positive reaction as did the
term small business.
And, as was the case for small business, there is little
distinction in ratings of entrepreneurs across partisan or
ideological groups.
TheFederal Government
Americans' reactions to the term "the federal government" are
similar to those for "big business," with about half rating the term
positively and half negatively. However, while there are only
minimal partisan differences in reactions to "big business," there
are substantial differences in reactions to the federal government,
which may reflect the current partisan control of the White House
and Congress.
Democrats are much more positive about the federal government
than are Republicans.
Liberals are over twice as likely as conservatives to have a
positive image of the federal government, with reactions of
moderates in between those of these two groups.
Bottom Line
As most politicians and many in business have learned, the choice
of words to describe a concept or a policy can often make a
substantial difference in the public's reaction. The current
research confirms that assumption.
"Socialism" is not a completely negative term in today's America.
About a third of Americans respond positively when they hear the
term. Some of this reaction may reflect unusual or unclear
understandings of what socialism means. Reaction to the term is not
random, however, as attested by the finding that positive images are

Results are based on telephone interviews with 972 national
adults, aged 18 and older, conducted Jan. 26-27, 2010. For results
based on the total sample of national adults, one can say with 95%
confidence that the maximum margin of error is +-4 percentage
points.

and cellular phones.
In addition to sampling error, question wording and practical
difficulties in conducting surveys can introduce error or bias into
the findings of public opinion polls.

would have de-clawed the law and allowed partial birth abortions to

compared babies to sexually transmitted disease.
* To perform a partial birth abortion, the abortionist pulls the baby into
breach position (feet first) and sequentially pulls out the baby's legs and
arms, leaving only the head inside the mother while the rest of the baby's
body is outside of the mother and even moving. The abortionist then reaches
in with a pair of scissors and cuts a deep hole high up in the back of the
baby's neck, and then sticks a suction tube into the hole. When the suction
machine is turned on, the baby's brain is sucked out, crushing the skull, at
which point the now dead baby can be removed with ease. "Partial birth
abortion" is a fancy name for heinous
baby murder.
