About Dick's Guides

Dick's Guides began in 1998, when I started putting study and reference material for courses I was taking at AASU (Armstrong Atlantic State University).  Students at other colleges started to use the pages, and I began to advertise a few products, like books associated with course materials. I started making money without spending any money and soon people were asking me how they could start their own online businesses with no money.  This led me to add information on truly no cost money making opportunities, ideal for students who need some income and can't afford cash investments.  Today this web has thousands of pages of academic information, general information, free stuff and business opportunities. Dick's Guide to College (But also see Dick's Guides to Happiness, health, love, pleasure and wealth)

This site started as an information and consulting service for students. It provided access to what all college students need, even beer, cars and credit cards, but also free research and academic help, free college courses a lot of other free stuff and help for students who want to make money in their own business ventures -- with no investment, get scholarships, meet men and women looking for friends and dates, get a job or shop till they drop on the internet, without leaving home. We made it easy for students to reference our web pages.  Beginning on September 10, 1998, all of our web pages include proper citations for use in college and high school papers. In addition, our pages provide information on publication dates and the author. To see this type of citation, go to the end of this page.

We also provided opportunities for students to win money, trips and other gifts. There's also information on fun things, books, beauty,  music, movies, sports, TV and soap operas. You can go to this page for great auctions and classifieds! We're also building a set of Internet Super Malls  for Books,  Computers,  Dating Services, Email Accounts for free, Flowers for all occasions,  Music CD's and cassettes,   Magazines,  Movies,  Sporting Goods, Software, Toys, Videos, and several unusual super internet malls for romance books, books about American history and more.  As others came to use these pages, our site expanded for the general public, with guides to Happiness, health, love, pleasure and wealth, and shopping malls, where comparison shopping between internet merchants and user's own local merchants are always made possible.  The malls include: Beauty and Health Mall, Clothing Mall, Computer Mall, Cosmetics Mall  Dating Mall,  Gambling Mall,  Travel Mall

Dick's Guides also helps students understand how current educational establishment, politicians, policemen, and educators are seriously damaging students' futures. Methods for students to "fight back" are provided.    When the first website got full (the original http://dicksguides.com ) I started a second website, http://dicksguides2.com.  In 2004 I had grown to the point where I needed another Dick's Guide website, http://dicksguides5.com.  The index page on each site is almost the same as this one, but the site content differs.  This site, http://dicksguides.com, contains guides to  Knowledge, Pleasure and College.Happiness and Health. AND Dick's Cyberspace Mall with over 1000 stores   The  http://dicksguides2.com provide guides to Health, Happiness and Religion, http://dicksguides5.com provides guidance to Love,   Wealth, and what has become  Dick's Cyberspace Mall, the World's Largest Internet Mall with over 1000 shops.  I should point out that I and my colleagues are not super gurus, but we are good Internet searchers.  Like you, thanks to the Internet, we have more knowledge at out fingertips than all the greatest philosophers and scientists that lived before us.  We have tried to arrange this information in a way that might help you.

    People would often ask me for information I did not have.  If the information they wanted was interesting to me, I'd do some research and create a new web page. (I'm a good and fast Internet researcher.)  If you have a question or are looking for information, just drop me an email at ramann2997@aol.com.  I will always try to get back to you -- even if I am not going to answer your inquiry.  If you write to me for specific help, please put the word "HELP" in capital letters in your email's subject box.  It helps if you tell me why you need the information and when you need the information, especially if you have a deadline.  The deadline may spur me on, but it also enables me to respond to you and let you know I cannot meet the deadline.  I do not charge anything for this service, unless you're a lawyer or doctor or other professional seeking the research.  If you are such a professional, I charge $20 an hour.  The reason we do this research for free (or at low cost) is that we have found that if YOU are interested in some subject, others will also be interested.  This enables us to create a new page addressing your needs, with our ads.  When someone else looks for information on the same subject you asked about, we hope they may find one of our ads interesting.  We have discovered that The World's Largest Shopping Mall allows people to not just shop online, but to comparison shop on line.
